Measurement Uncertainty ( Microbiology)

This 2 days training session covers the estimation of Measurement Uncertainty (MU) in quantitative microbiology in accordance with ISO 19036 guidelines. Participants will learn how to apply top-down global approaches using log10-transformed duplicate quality control data to derive intermediate reproducibility (s_R), calculate combined and expanded uncertainty (U) at a 95% confidence level, and correctly report results as asymmetrical confidence intervals for ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory compliance.
